0 wordsHow the anagram solver works
An anagram is a word or phrase formed by rearranging all the letters of another word or phrase. This solver only returns words that use every letter you entered exactly once, so the result is a true anagram.
For example, LISTEN has the anagrams SILENT and TINSEL. Enter LISTEN above and the tool returns words of exactly six letters that use L, I, S, T, E, and N once each.
If you want words that use only some of your letters, use the Word Descrambler or Unscramble Letters tool instead. Those tools search for all playable subsets.
Frequently asked questions
What is an anagram?
An anagram is a word formed by rearranging all the letters of another word. LISTEN → SILENT is an anagram.
Does the solver use every letter?
Yes. The Anagram Solver only returns words that use the full set of letters exactly once.
Can I use blank tiles?
Yes. Type ? for each blank tile. The blank counts as a letter but scores 0.
Why are there fewer results?
Because anagrams must use every letter. For words using only part of your rack, use the Word Descrambler.
